Project Closeout and Final Acceptance

During the project closeout phase, final completion, also referred to as final acceptance, is determined by the owner upon confirming the construction project as 100% complete, including punch list work. At this juncture, the contractor fulfills any outstanding contract terms and requirements, often culminating in a final inspection conducted by the architect or construction manager.
